Elke's pillows

On the second floor of a charming house of Germany, is the magic world of Elke. The pillows are there and wait only the moment to be admired. The collection (more than 70 pillows) is varied. In this collection, all is respected: the supports, the bobbins are of origin, the lace of time or remade according to models of originals.

One of preferred of Elke is this superb German pillow of 1864. Even the bobbins are of origin, they are finer than those of today and the head is in pearl and not out of wood. Confidence for confidence, the pearl it is very pretty but less practical to work because that does not hang badly! In right-hand side, another superb pillow , a "Bedfordshire". Lace lokk likeCluny, the bobbins very light and are decorated with pearls.

Elke knew to preserve the heart of the objects: all was preserved: here, an inscription, there, a personal decoration of the lacemaker, or an invention of the manufacturer (.... the husband of the lacemaker?).
