The Museum of Taxandria (Turnhout - Belgium)

Turnhout is a small city of Flemish Belgium, located at the north of Brussels. The Taxandria museum is sheltered in this beautiful residence. The exposure that we visited is not permanent but the principal rooms with lace remain visible all the time.

Here one of the principal rooms of the ground floor. The dress that you see is produced entirely as a duchess. In detail a wall panel.

Another room interesting: at the bottom on the left a black dress in chantilly, on both sides, two superb coats of baptism. In the cupboard a whole of caps was. In the medium of the room, a drawn up table raised a lace tablecloth (the detail is not perfect, but it gives a small idea).

On right-hand side here a part of the temporary exposure. The majority of laces were carried out in point of Paris, Malines and Lille. You see a chair, in detail will find it to you with his miniature, mulching is in point of Paris.
