Lace to the Baronnie de Bretteville on Odon (in July 7 and 8, 2001)

This meeting took place in the prestigious frame of the domain of the Baronnie de Breteville on Odon, the ancient(former) farm of the means - age having belonged to the abbey of the Mont-Saint-Michel. The barn with Tithe (XIV century) was for two days the place of meeting priviligié of the lacemakers. Besides the exhibitors (22 of 6 different countries) and the demonstrations of the lacemakers (of Canada, England and different regions of France), Cluny-Torchon's classes, Lace of Bayeux and Polychromatic of Courseulles were organized during the weekend. Trainings stakes in card as well as Duchess were possible from 9 till 12 July. Let us greet Michel Bouvot's initiative which also put in the honor the internet dentellier by the putting at disposition of the public of two Web sites: http://perso.libertysurf.fr /blondecaen and http://www.dentellieres.com.

I have appreciated particuliérement the warm and friendly atmosphere of this meeting as well as the organization without defect due to Claudette's devouement, Michel as well as numerous anonymous volunteers.

The barn with Tithe where were numerous exhibitors	M Michel Bouvot, president of the association DBCC, together with M the Mayor of Ste Honorine du Fay, Mrs Ferry, the assistant in Bretteville / Odon's culture, and Mrs Claire Trouvé, the assistant representing the city of Caen  during the inauguration of the demonstration.

The decoration of the barn on the subject of the water.	The second room welcomed the ironing of headgears, Claudette's book and Michel, Web sites as well as lacemakers in demonstration.
