The lace market of Vauvert (in October 6 and 7)

Being lined by both prestigious quoted classic arts that are Nimes and Arles, the city of Vauvert is situated in the Gard in the heart of the "small" Camargue.
Vauvert welcomed, this year, the 4-th Dentellier market. This demonstration grouped together storekeepers of all Europe, specialized in the material to dentellier: accessories and books, antique dealers for the old laces, models of traditional and contemporary laces. Numerous lacemakers also animated this market with demonstrations of very different techniques. Finally two magnificent exhibitions on original subjects completed this demonstration.
