Rooms of Hosts of Michel Jourde

For is the visit, the meal, it necessary to sleep, then why not in rooms of hosts, in the largest French lace draughtsman? At a few minutes of Puy-in-Velay, Michel Jourde and his wife will accomodate you in their splendid lodging: "La Paravent".

Michel, if you don't know it yet, is famous for his drawings and his "setting in card". Besides you can, to learn his technique, either "on line" or by correspondence. Helene  works in the National Conservatory Workshop of Lace, her carries out parts of great artistic quality there on contemporary models: tablecloths, towels, handkerchiefs, mats, etc which enter the collections of the State-owned furniture. The National Workshop is charged to maintain the techniques of lace to the spindles: setting in card, lace itself, completion and assembly.

But let us return to your housing: five rooms will be proposed to you, you will awake with the song of the birds and will be able to admire the superb panorama since the windows of your room.  Between Puy and Retournac and its famous museum, Chaspinhac (to pronounce Chaspigniac) will be the ideal starting point for your excursions lacemakers (or religious, if you make the pilgrimage of the road of Saint Jacques de Compostelle).
