The exposition of Sylva Deblanc (February 2003)

From November 9 at February 23, 2003, Sylva Deblanc exposed her laces to the museum of the Jacquard of Roubaix (North). In this exposure, one could also admire some parts lent by the museum of lace Olsene (Belgium).

A curious rake was exposed, you will be able to see in detail the arm which supports the needle. With dimensioned, a work with the needle under development.

Sylva Deblanc is a Flemish artist who makes you discover lace under various techniques (with the spindles, the needle and the machine). But its particulatity is especially the reproduction out of lace of tables of other artists.
